AMAZING:

A MONOLOGUE

I can’t remember a time in my life when God wasn’t there.  When I was real little, I heard God’s voice in the creek that ran through town, and in the wind that rattled the trees when there was a storm.  Sometimes God’s voice was deep and gentle like my Grandfather’s, other times it was serious and practical like my Grandmother’s.  Most times it was full of surprise and fun as we explored the world where I lived.

“What do you think of that?” God would say when we stumbled upon a tree growing straight sideways out of a ravine, or a lizard without a tail waiting for me to pick it up and take it to my lizard hospital.

“Amazing,” I would answer back to God – and then we would laugh and keep going so God could show me more.

This world is amazing – what has God shown you lately?
